person:So whats the deal?
Self : How you feel?
Person: Man I just been thinking about how life is real... specifically, I had a epiphany and I've been tryna figure out what my life is meant to be.
Self: Well what ya learn? You should figure out if the time you spend working is really worth what you earn.
Person: Well I've been thinking about that and it doesn't seem that it does... the work I have to do now seems like twice as much.
Self: Budget cuts, except for the kisser ups... I really wanna tell them to put their lips and pucker up.
Person: Now wait a minute, I need my job because their isn't a Santa and Christmas is coming soon... mom wants a new camera.
Self: so what's your angle? You see the bait, don't just watch it dangle. I know good work is hard to find but it takes two to tangle.
Person: well I'm ready to start dancing in the money. It's everywhere I wanna be, so I guess I'll call it honey. The time for waiting is over, I'm marching forth like a soldier... this money chase will send you all over the place, but I'm gonna stay put like a boulder.

It's Real

With so much drama in the world, please keep yours to yourself. People don't wanna hear it from anybody else. We all got bills, we all feel stress. Life gets real when your credit becomes a mess. Then you gotta eat, that usually comes next. Now you are waiting for your next paycheck. You've been working real hard to get this money because being broke as a joke has never been funny. We all have rainy days, so keep something stashed away. If you can ride out the storm, I promise some day it'll be sunny.

Inspirational pt.2

In this day and time, there's so much bad on our mind. 
We hardly have the time to tell our loved ones that we're fine. 
So we go thru each day, with so much on our plate. 
That we lose track of time, seconds, hours by the date. 
But no longer should you wait. God can take it off your plate. 
You just gotta start with prayer, then all you do is wait. 
It's important to have faith, God will never show up late. 
Just give him all your problems and I promise you'll be straight. 
So get back to your loved ones, let them know that you're ok. 
Don't put this off any longer, let the healing start today :)

Her

Honey like complexion, show her sum affection, top pick selection, she wins my election. No second guessing, I learned my lesson, when God sends a blessing there's no need to question. Silky smooth hair, all natural there, watch her walk by and it sways in the air. Sexiest lips, kind you luv ta kiss, just like her body I'm lovin it. Intelligent mind, hard to find, she makes me think when I'm not even tryin. Craziest thoughts, funny like Chris Rock, I swear me and her have the craziest talks. 

I can't put into words how i feel about her tho.

Inspiration

With times getting so hard what's a man to do? 
Heck Usher don't even have the answer, it's true. 
They same the economy is getting better, but this recession, 
got a choke hold on the wallet as our money lessens. 
Obama got the plan, but health care raising eyes 
mostly amongst non supporters that are white. 
Dont get me wrong, im a lil skeptical myself. 
but i put my trust in God and NO ONE else. 
I know with God on my side, i'll enjoy the ride, 
it might be a lil bumpy but I'm a easy going guy. 
So America, don't lose faith in our king, 
hasn't he delivered you through worse things? 
Anyway, I said my piece for the moment.

The Cycle

I tried my hardest to keep it away. I did my best not to stay. These memories are stuck on replay... I wonder if i saw you, what would you say? Would you even recognize me today? Was I really that bad to turn you astray? We were once black and white, You blended in with the gray. now it's cray, way too cray, cause you're gone like yesterday. I think you've made it way more clear than blueray... I could give you my all Monday and be forgotten Tuesday. Wednesday and thursday, i'll surely be hurting. you can do your thing, I know you like flirting. Come Friday... if we ain't speaking, I guess i'll cheers to the weekend. Sunday is here, and it's you I hear... You always reel me back before Monday appears.

Figure It Out

Some how, some way, I gotta make it some day. I don't care for the fame, don't care if u know my name. I just wanna provide for myself, does that sound lame? I know somebody out there can really feel my pain? I know I can be successful, I just gotta figure something out. I wanna be the first Jon Rhem, whatever that's about. I got way too many interest, I gotta figure something out. I don't need any diamonds in my mouth. I just wanna be well off, make my momma proud. That's the only thing I've cared about since I was a child. I wanna make my daddy happy, but momma comes first. She's the only one who really cared since my date of birth. I know I got a way with words, the metaphors and verbs. Maybe I can write my own success before I'm put out on the curve. And when I one day meet her, I want my woman to be proud. Know that she has faith in me when I flash her with a smile. I gotta figure something out, cause I'm running out of time. Maybe I can make some money off these little simple rhymes. But in the mean time, I'll fill these textbooks in my mind.
